Danny & Bobby Find Oldest Surviving Wooden Water Wheel in America

|sixteen-foot-wide water wheel that has just been excavated (2004). The picture
shows the ripples of the water as it flows over the 12 in. x 12 in. wooden sill that is
preserved by the fresh flowing water. Our son, Bobby Ricketts of Forest, Virginia,
was a driving force in the excavation. He has prepared a website that fully
documents the discovery, excavation, and display of the water wheel and artifacts:
